Real estate has always been a core part of the Fiduchi business and for over 20 years we have been helping our clients establish and manage international structures to hold real estate.
We have a depth of experience across the real estate landscape and have worked on investments in residential, commercial and retail, as well as small and large-scale development projects in the UK and across the globe. These holdings are usually structured through Jersey corporate vehicles and/or subsidiaries in other jurisdictions and our clients are able to benefit from our expertise in handling the relevant aspects of corporate governance and risk management that pertain to these types of structure.
We have a dedicated real estate administration team, providing services to structures holding several billions of USD in real estate assets. Our team has considerable experience in establishing real estate structures and has proven expertise in providing formation and administration services to property-holding vehicles. Structures currently under administration hold a wide variety of property including high-end residential, small residential developments, large residential housing units, high-end office space and commercial property, shopping centres, care homes, student accommodation and large-scale international developments.
Our director-led team is flexible enough to deal with all manner of real estate structuring, from small residential holding structures to large developments. We provide traditional formation and administration services to these structures as well as providing directorship and trusteeship services. Our team is able to invest in and manage property through various corporate vehicles, including SPV companies, JPUTs, limited partnerships and Jersey Private Funds.
We provide bookkeeping and accounting services in-house and can provide periodic reporting as well as full annual financial statements. Although we do not give tax advice, we work with a network of advisors to allow our structures to fulfil their filing and tax obligations - this would include the compilation and submission of quarterly and annual returns as well as CRS, FATCA and Country-by-Country submissions. As a truly independent, management-owned business, we are free from the conflicts that can arise with institutionally -owned companies. This means that we work closely with a wide range of advisors and service providers, and we are able collaberate with our clients to ensure that the right advisor is used in the right circumstances.
