I am extending huge congratulations to all four of our promotees as we head full speed into the final quarter of 2019.
12 months have flown since we introduced bespoke ‘Promotion Plans’ to Fiduchi and it is with shared pride that we can now celebrate the successful progression of Terry, Jasmin, Ave and Hui.
Employee Engagement is high on the list of competing priorities in the HR space here at Fiduchi. We recognise motivated and talented employees are the cornerstone of our business. As such we are always looking for new ways to increase engagement.
Initiated as an extension of our performance management program, the Promotion Plans were designed to capitalise on our in-house expertise.
Empowering our individuals to tailor their own career path through experiences, training and professional qualifications has resulted in sustained success as each individual identified for focussed development embraced the opportunity to take their career path to the next level.
With the spotlight on expertise, our mission to deliver excellence in client service through specific objectives, innovative challenges and demonstrative behaviours linked to company values and culture was rejuvenated. Our tailored Promotion Plans link employee objectives, client expectations and business goals.
Terry Northcott has18 years’ experience in the Finance Industry and has worked with Fiduchi since 2014. Terry’s promotion to Executive Director – Corporate Services and subsequent appointment to the board is a direct result of exceptional performance and a reflection of his commitment and contribution to Fiduchi over the past 5 years. Terry has been instrumental in the growth of Fiduchi's Corporate and Real Estate Business and is a compelling Change Leader in the culture of Fiduchi. Terry was identified by the board as a potential Leader and has embraced the opportunity to develop demonstrating Ingenuity, Client Focus and Teamwork.
Continued success within the Corporate Team means we are also able to share the promotion of Ave Rees-Williams and Jasmin Olver who have taken ownership for their own career development and successfully achieved Assistant Manager status in the same period.
Ave joined Fiduchi in November 2018 when we were looking for a temporary Senior Administrator for the team. With almost 20 years Trust experience she was keen to find a company where the culture and opportunity met her expectations. The business was delighted to offer Ave a full-time role and when she indicated she was keen to develop her career in Trust and Funds, Fiduchi was able to offer her the opportunity to succeed. Ave is respected for her professionalism and is recognised as a strong team player.
Ave works alongside Jasmin Olver who has been with Fiduchi since 2010. 12 months ago, we were sorry to see Jasmin leave our team but as a business we really support employee aspirations. Even if that means we sometimes have to let them go to follow a different path. When she returned to Fiduchi refreshed with new perspective we were delighted to welcome her back. Working with the Leadership Team we were able to offer her a promotion plan which gave her the opportunity to meet her personal objectives in line with business goals. Jasmin is valued by all her colleagues for her expertise and collaborative nature.
Last but not least, Hui Zhao joined us in February this year. Part of the attraction to the role was the unrestricted development opportunity within our Private Client Team. Moving from the global corporate company she was familiar with to our comparatively small business was a significant change; yet Hui committed to stretching goals and successfully integrated into our independent business displaying competence and commitment. She was offered the opportunity to develop and has brought another dimension of expertise to the team.
As a co-founder and major shareholder, David Hopkins, Fiduchi’s Managing Director prides himself on this passion for delivering opportunity. Supported by the board of directors, he remains focussed on global expansion and the delivery of excellent client service through developing expertise and rewarding ambition.
As we head into Quarter 4, I’m excited to see the #FiduchiFamily grow as we expand both our Funds Service Business and our client base in our London and Dubai offices.
